Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team
This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems
You will also be responsible for designing and implementing motor controls and power electronics for turbomachinery
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about electrical engineering and enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Responsibilities:
1
Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet specified requirements and are delivered on time and within budget
2
Design and develop PLC systems, including hardware and software components.
3
Conduct detailed analysis and testing of electrical systems and components to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
4
Design and implement motor controls and power electronics for turbomachinery.
5
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and technicians on project development, from concept to production.
6
Use SolidWorks or similar software for the design and simulation of electrical systems and components.
7
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
8
Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate them into the design and development process.
9
Prepare and present technical reports, specifications, and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
1
BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2
A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on PLC design, electronics hardware design, testing, motor controls, and power electronics.
3
Experience with turbomachinery is strongly preferred.
4
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
5
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
6
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7
Strong communication and presentation skills.
8
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9
Solid understanding of safety and compliance standards in electrical engineering.
10
A commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of electrical engineering.
