Job Description
AECOM is seeking an a highly talented Mechanical Engineer to be based in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities:
Fuel System Design Engineer will serve as discipline designer leader on projects that include an emphasis on receipt, storage, transfer, and issue of finished fuel products such as aviation jet fuel, diesel fuel, ethanol, and motor gasoline.
Projects include tanker truck fuel receipt, marine vessel fuel receipt, aboveground and underground transfer pipelines, aboveground and underground horizontal and vertical fuel storage tanks, and aircraft and tanker truck fuel issue systems. Projects will also include ground vehicle refueling systems such as fleet and retail service stations.
Position will include responsibility for development of discipline specific design execution plans for assigned projects. Position will be responsible for completing projects on schedule and within the established budgets and for ensuring that all discipline specific contract requirements have been met.
Fuel System Design Engineer will assist in training and supervision of work of junior engineers conducting fuel system design work.
Fueling System Design Engineer will work and coordinate with multidiscipline engineering teams including civil, structural, and electrical engineers.
