Bachelor's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline.
3+ years of experience in large-scale space systems integration and systems engineering on space vehicles, OPIR payloads, and TT&C subsystems.
3+ years of experience working on a space-related (space, ground, software, hardware system) Major Defense Acquisition Program.
Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, and inter-service support agreements.
Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification.
Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission. Nice If You Have: TS/SCI clearance.
Master's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent technical discipline.
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP).
Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems.
Experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines.
Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02.
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies. Work Location: El Segundo area (commutable distance to HQ SSC and/or Booz Allen's El Segundo office). Hybrid work permitted - mix of on-site & off-site. Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is: $81,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually.
