To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Job Description Huntington Ingalls Industries is hiring a Tactical Data Link Analyst for the NITE (Navy Integrated Training Environment) contract to provide TDL equipment operation, training, troubleshooting and management support for all agencies participating in or supporting Fallon TDL training operations. The candidate will train applicable civilian and military personnel in the operation of Fallon TDL equipment; coordinates TDL settings with operation participants and the operation of TDL cryptographic equipment. The candidate will report to the Coordinates with external TDL communities and other training and testing ranges to ensure the Fallon TDL infrastructure is compatible with and capitalizes on the existing DoD TDL infrastructure and recommends appropriate modifications and upgrades to NSWC for incorporation into the Fallon TDL infrastructure.
Supports equipment relocation to include cost analysis, optimization studies, engineering studies, integration and installation in support of TDL requirements. Works with engineering department for capability improvements and with configuration management to maintain and document TDL baselines.
Uses the IEMS for operations coordination as well as maintenance reporting.
Essential Job Responsibilities Analyzes and provides recommendations on issues dealing with disciplines such as military command control and communications, electronic warfare, weapon systems, contingency operations, Military Tactics Techniques and Procedures (MTTP), force planning, and training exercises. Coordinates with user community representatives throughout all phases of development concerning requirements definition, clarification, prioritization, and alternatives. Analyzes the conduct and results of operational user training, military maneuvers or simulated wartime operations undertaken to main the capabilities of a force. Compares, analyzes and evaluates the relative merits of program designs and alternatives. Applies emerging doctrine and tactics, whether detailed in formal doctrinal changes or emanating from Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWEs), Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs), or Force XXI activities, to system design and development. Assesses the impact of programmatic and technical options on stated user requirements and doctrine. Prepares reports and briefs summarizing support requirements, deficiencies, and investments for various programs and systems. Specific Duties: Operate and monitor the Tactical Data Links (TDL) LVT-11 radio set during link operation.
Operate and monitor Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) radio.
Operate and monitor the Multi-Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT) System.
Coordinate requests from the Range Training Officers (RTO) to meet their training requirements.
Provide basic level troubleshooting to the TDL Computer System Analyst.
Minimum Qualifications 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field OR
3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field OR
0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements Five years experience in tactical data links
One year experience in technical report writing
Ability to speak, read, and write English

USJFCOM JT-102, Multi-TDL Advanced Joint Interoperability Course (MAJIC)
