A Documentation Specialist is one who Performs document management and document configuration support for program to include document control, working with CDRL and Non-CDRL documents. As part of the team, will manage collected, received, or created information that documents, explains, or justifies policies, procedures, decisions, operations and activities of the program. Ensures CDRL quality when deliverables arrive to include inspecting for proper markings, review Government CDRL responses and ensure comment clarity and quality. Assist teams in the proper way to make and adjudicate comments for CDRLs. Use ITIL framework methods to produce, maintain and improve technical process materials. The candidate shall support tasks that require the collecting, compiling, evaluating, and publishing of information and statistical data in documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, and regulations. Performs end-to-end quality assurance of data. Certify that deliverables have met all quality requirements. Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and inspection checklists. What You Will Do Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.
What We Are Looking For 0 years of experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Experience in document management or a similar role, with experience using document control systems. Understanding of document control procedures and best practices. Familiarity with Configuration Management Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Non-CDRL documents. Ability to review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards (e.g., formatting, marking). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve document issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and government agencies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Must have an active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
