Looing for Electrical Simulation Engineer specializing in Powernet Simulation and ANSYS TwinBuilder, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing automotive electrical systems. You will leverage advanced simulation tools to model, analyze, and validate electrical networks, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, simulation software, and a deep understanding of automotive electrical architectures

Key Responsibilities:
  • Simulation and Modeling:
    • Develop and validate detailed models of automotive electrical systems using ANSYS TwinBuilder and other simulation tools.
    • Perform Powernet simulations to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and reliability of electrical components and systems.
    • Create virtual prototypes to test and optimize system designs before physical implementation.
  • Analysis and Optimization:
    • Conduct comprehensive analyses of electrical systems to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
    • Optimize electrical architectures to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve energy efficiency.
    • Validate system behavior under various operating conditions and scenarios.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware designers, software engineers, and validation teams, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate simulation results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Provide technical support and guidance during the development and testing phases.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure all electrical simulations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
    • Stay updated on the latest developments in automotive electrical systems and simulation technologies.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in electrical simulation and modeling, preferably in the automotive industry.
    • Proficiency in using ANSYS TwinBuilder for electrical system simulation.
    • Experience with Powernet simulation tools and techniques.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of automotive electrical architectures and components.
    • Knowledge of other simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automotive electrical systems.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with vehicle electrical power management and battery systems.
  • Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle architectures.
  • Knowledge of control systems and embedded software for automotive applications.
