The opportunity to be part of the Specialty Engineering team offers a motivated professional a unique entry point to work across a broad range of activities. HII is looking to hire a Project Management Analyst 1 for programs executed out of Roanoke, VA. The Project Management Analyst 1 will work closely with other Program Managers and assigned program staff on all aspects of current and future programs, including pre-award, execution, and post-award activities. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work on site, it will be performed full-time at HII's facility. Essential Job Responsibilities Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and engineering leads
Reviews status of projects and budgets
Manages schedules and prepares status reports Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, engineering leads, and clients
Minimum Qualifications Must have excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills and professional oral and written communication skills
Must have creative problem-solving skills
Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI with enhanced security checks (CI poly preferred)
Proficient knowledge in the use of Personal Computers (PCs) and word processing and data entry software
0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or 4 years relevant experience with High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Requirements Experience managing projects in a relevant industry
