You will
Do your experiences include any of the following?
AutoCAD drafting package for creating detailed engineering drawings.
Creation and interpretation of one-line and three-line diagrams for electrical systems.
Conducting arc-flash hazard calculations to determine arc-flash boundaries and the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Understanding of protective relay and metering one-line / three-line diagrams.
Familiarity with AC/DC schematics for electrical systems.
Ability to develop panel layouts for equipment installations.
Experience in creating equipment layouts and sectional views for engineering designs.
Proficient in generating connection diagrams to illustrate electrical connections.
Knowledge of developing cable schedules for efficient cable management.
Expertise in DC power distribution design for various applications.
Ability to create construction and equipment specifications for engineering projects.
Understanding of grounding analysis and design principles.
Experience in medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) power distribution, substation, and advanced switchgear design.
Familiarity with international electrical standards such as IEC, UL, and NFPA.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
A minimum of 5 years' experience of working in an associated industry with a background in power generation (between 1-25MW) or Renewable Natural Gas
Knowledge of low and of medium voltage power trains and associated control and instrumentation.
Good IT Skills -MS Office
Nice-to-have's:
Professional registration. Experience in CHP, Microgrid, Battery, Solar PV experience is desirable
Knowledge of AutoCAD drafting package or similar
PE license

Job Details
You will
- Transform conceptual ideas into detailed designs that align with functional and contractual requirements of secured orders. This involves developing specifications, conducting calculations, and selecting components.
- Assist in the sales phase of projects by ensuring timely delivery of conceptual design and tender preparation documents, meeting both deadlines and quality standards for customer presentations.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of detailed designs.
- Coordinate with CAD Designers, overseeing and directing design activities to ensure timely completion of design packages meeting specified standards.
- Provide assistance to the Project Manager throughout project phases, including design, installation, commissioning, and testing, ensuring timely completion of all required documentation.
- Engage with existing and potential customers, as well as their representatives, as necessary.
- Lead or participate in HAZOP and risk assessment studies as required.
- Travel to customer sites for meetings and conduct surveys as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management policies and procedures in all aspects of work.
