We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes and equipment. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Director and will work cross-functionally with our Design, Quality, and Production teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants, utilizing CAD Design and other relevant software.
2. Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and reliability of products.
3. Develop and implement PLC Controls for automated systems in the manufacturing process.
4. Design and implement robust inspection systems to ensure quality and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
5. Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and develop effective corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with design engineering and other internal teams to optimize product design for manufacturability.
7. Monitor and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows for cost-effectiveness and productivity, recommending improvements where necessary.
8. Train and guide junior engineers and other team members on manufacturing process optimization and equipment usage.
9. Stay updated on the latest manufacturing technologies and trends, and incorporate new technology into the company's manufacturing process where applicable.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proficient in CAD Design, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), PLC Controls, inspection systems, and Manufacturing Processes.
4. Proven track record of designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes and equipment.
5. Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, automation, and Lean manufacturing principles.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
9. Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a desire to stay updated on the latest manufacturing technologies and trends.
