Electrical Engineer: Seeking a mid-level Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing design group at a premier Engineering Consultant. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are critical along with technical expertise and attention to detail.

Management Requirements:

Ability to lead a project from schematic design through construction administration.

Develop written scope of work and fee estimates.

Mentor junior designers/engineers.

Foster long-term client relationships.

Manage electrical design projects based on client requirements, schedule, and budget.

Technical Requirements:

Lead project design from start to finish.

Perform quality control reviews of electrical engineering documents.

Specification writing.

Detailed engineering studies and designs.

Engineering calculations (conductor sizing, voltage drop calculations, utility transformer sizing, etc.).

Construction administration and commissioning of electrical systems.

Turnkey/design-build.

Project management.

Desirable software experience: AutoDesk Revit, AutoDesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, COMcheck.

Education Background:

BS, Electrical Engineering

License Requirements:

EIT (looking to pursue PE), Electrical Engineering

Market Experience:

Municipalities, Utilities, Higher education, Industrial, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Laboratory, Commercial

Project Experience:

Design of complex electrical system upgrades.

Energy efficiency upgrades.

Electrification/decarbonization.

Utility upgrades.

Combined Heat and Power (CHP).

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

PV systems
