Seeking Electrical Systems Engineer with 5+ years of systems integration experience to support and lead applied R&D and product development programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualified Candidates will be able to support several (not necessarily all) of the following:
Assess vehicle (e.g. aircraft, ground, remotely operated, etc.) requirements and develop relevant integrated system architectures
Establish integrated system architectures which enable subsystem communication, power distribution, and control
Develop integration plans, create interface control documents (ICDs), and track requirements against plans
Collaborate with partners and team members to implement the required physical and logical system interfaces
Perform hands-on implementation and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software integrations throughout various stages of the design and build
Use of common embedded and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, 1553, UART, SPI, I2C, aircraft communications protocols, and Open Mission Systems
Drive and support system trade studies, design, design reviews, integration, assembly, and test efforts
Application of relevant electrical engineering and safety codes and standards

Work in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment
Participate in multiple technical programs at once (typically 3 or 4 programs simultaneously)
Apply a get-it-done, and get-it-done-right mindset coupled with attention to detail

Quickly understand new technology areas and manage and adapt to rapidly changing customer needs
Communicate technical results, plans, and issues with internal and external customers, including presenting and writing reports and proposals
Support the pursuit of new business opportunities through proposal writing, opportunity identification and participation in meetings
Stay current in technology advancements and embrace growth opportunities
Requirements
Exclusive US citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required
Minimum 5 years industry experience with systems design and integration
