RMF Engineering, Inc has an immediate need for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the York, Pennsylvania office to work with a skilled team of licensed professional engineers designing infrastructure systems for higher education, government, and healthcare clients.
Duties
Perform mechanical systems design for large central cooling and heating plants inclusive of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and controls.
Perform engineering calculations such as hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis.
Develop mechanical construction drawings using AutoDesk Revit MEP.
Participate in construction administration oversight (shop drawing review, site visits, and progress documentation.)
Requirements
Strong teamwork, communications, and customer service skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
0-3 Years of experience in architectural, engineering, or construction related field.
EIT certification a plus with ability to obtain PE licensure.
