Summary Cyber, Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) is looking to hire a Full Life Cycle Systems Engineer to provide requirements analysis and system specification for AF SIGINT operations. This position supports one of our IC customers in the Ft. Meade Annapolis Junction area. You will play a key role in modernizing AF SIGINT operations. In the position, the candidate will apply general systems engineering principles and practices throughout the entire life cycle phases of concept, design, development. production/test and operations Responsibilities In this position, you will interact with a large number of Government and development personnel regarding technical considerations for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Personal communication with peer and decision makers will be required to carry out duties, as well as written documentation. The individual will also be responsible for developing new or innovative approaches to evaluating technical or engineering issues and evaluating requirements to determine system stability. Occasional travel may be required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 years of general systems engineering experience
Master's degree or PhD in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 13 years of general systems engineering experience.
High school diploma or GED plus 19 years of general systems engineering experience
Must have a thorough understanding of US Armed Forces tactical SIGINT operations, military capabilities, and SIGINT concepts of operation.
Must have US Air Force SIGINT experience
Clearance: Must possess and active TS/SCI/Poly.for consideration Preferred Requirements Ability to communicate with Service Cryptologic Offices.
Familiarity with Technical SIGINT Operations.
Qualified candidates should have experience in the intelligence cycle, information operations, signals intelligence technical expertise, an understanding of the National signals collection system, and familiarity with the varying levels of tactical operations and analysis taking place within the military services.
