System Verification Engineer

LER TechForce is looking for a System Verification Engineer to help support aircraft engine product development. This full-time position offers the opportunity to benefit from an innovative work environment, flexible schedules, and ongoing professional development.

Individuals with experience working in the automotive, aerospace, or aviation space with knowledge of engines (IC, Hybrid, EV/BEV) would be an excellent fit for this position. As a Systems Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our systems through rigorous testing and requirements verification. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, develop test plans, execute tests, and analyze results to validate system functionality and performance.

JOB LOCATION:

On site in Indianapolis, IN

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Develop comprehensive test plans based on system requirements and design specifications.

Execute system tests to verify functionality, performance, and reliability across various platforms and environments.

Identify, isolate, and document issues or defects discovered during testing.

Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers to prioritize and address identified issues.

Develop automated test scripts and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

Participate in design reviews and provide input on system architecture and requirements to ensure testability and verifiability.

Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

ESSENTIAL:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

1-4 years of relevant work experience

Must be a US Citizen / Green Card holder

Proven experience in system testing and requirements verification, preferably in a hardware/software development environment.

Ability to follow procedures such as reviews, problem reporting and test method application

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for test automation.

Experience with test management tools and version control systems (e.g., JIRA, Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED:

Experience in aviation or automotive systems is a plus

Familiarity with hardware testing tools and techniques.
