Raytheon is seeking an experienced engineer for the role of New Business Engineering Lead for the Naval Power Radar Group in Dallas, Texas. The New Business Engineering Lead will use established processes and approved business tools to lead multi-discipline teams through proposal development, management review, and customer delivery. Qualifications You Must Have : Proposal development experience
Effective written and oral communication skills
Meeting deadlines and working in a schedule-driven environment
Time management skills with the ability to multitask while coordinating multiple priorities
Teamworking skills to include the ability to interact productively with project leaders, team members, users and customers
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience
Technical decision making experience
Ability to work as needed on-site at a Raytheon facility
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution Qualifications We Prefer: Knowledge of Program Management, Control Account Management, and Integrated Product Team Lead functions and responsibilities
Experience supporting or leading DoD proposals
Experience writing and/or approving Basis Of Estimate (BOE) documentation
Experience in development and application of proposal schedules, proposal work product matrices, cost estimation standards, and gate review templates
Knowledge of radar or similar sensor technologies
Experience with development and production of military hardware
Experience with the creation of hardware Bill Of Materials (BOM) documentation
Experience with Statement Of Work (SOW) and Request For Quote (RFQ) supplier engagement documentation
Knowledge of Raytheon databases systems (VM, SAP, PDM)
Earned value (EV) certification
Current Top Secret Security Clearance Required Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
