Sr Mgr, Supply Chain Mgmt, Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the RTX Naval Power Shipboard Missiles, Naval Standard Missile Systems Development Program Area. This role requires advanced/applied knowledge of the subcontracted systems, International supplier management, material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management, subcontract management and proposal activities. Typically viewed as expert in multiple aspects of MRP, this role requires broad knowledge of financial, project and material management. In this role, you will apply your existing knowledge of Supply Chain, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for programs or integrated product team. Additionally, you will participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates and participating in gate review preparation and/or support activities and assists with the generation of Supplier Statement of Works (SSOW). The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization. This position is an onsite role. What You Will Do: Principles, concepts, industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle and other next generation ERP systems) Working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements Master Data, MRP Scheduling and Material Sales Forecasting Customer Proposal generation Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives Generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP's / RFQ's) Financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.); overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager. Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers Generate and manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities Willingness to Travel Domestically/Internationally, as required Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
