Job Description Summary: System Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer 2 serves as the system integrator for technologies and product lines developed using Draper's core capabilities. In this role they plan, execute, and manage I&T activities starting from early test concept development through system certification. This includes functional simulation, subsystem and system integration and test, verification and validation (V&V), performance evaluation, and acceptance testing. System I&T Engineers leverage multi-disciplinary engineering expertise and collaborate with other Systems Engineers to establish clear, verifiable, and traceable requirements, inform and drive system concepts, architectures, and designs to promote testability, and utilizes resident expertise and lessons learned to support the development of highly reliable, robust, and complex systems. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities
• Help define an I&T approach for a particular component / subsystem / system and independently execute plan. • Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
• Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
• Proactively identify needs and concerns associated with plan execution and communicate them to project leadership. • Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field. Experience
Requires 3-5 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role. Additional Job Description: The individual will work on one or more project teams to develop, integrate, test, and demonstrate novel autonomous systems. Example projects include: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs), guided parafoils, guided munitions, space systems and ground robotics. As an Autonomous Systems Integration & Test Engineer, the individual will balance depth in specific technical domains with a system-level understanding of the technology and sponsor's needs. A successful candidate will thrive on a multi-disciplinary team and be able to bridge gaps between subject matter experts in various technical domains, while bringing Subject Matter Experience in working with the embedded processors, lower level control, and communication solutions for these systems.
