Leidos currently has an opening for a Flight Operations Center Logistics Liaison Officer (LNO) supporting the PSS-T program in Columbia, MD. Leidos is the Product Support Management and Logistics Lead for an unmanned aerial intelligence platform located in various CONUS and OCONUS operational areas and depots. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Persistent Surveillance Systems - Tethered (PSS-T) program. What's in it for you? The Flight Operations Center LNO for PSS-T Program is responsible for monitoring health of deployed systems, plan and implement a logistics response to system failures or supply shortages, and support improvement of Performance Based Logistics Metrics (PBLM) by monitoring, reporting, and responding to analytical results. LNO will receive calls at the Flight Operations Center from forward operators and repair support, and coordinating logistics response to all emerging requirements for their assigned hub and spoke locations. THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities) Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Monitors mission health of systems deployed and provides daily reporting to the FOC Lead. Responsible for gathering Level 1 PBLM using mission data, electronic health and status reporting, and details from fielded calls from Operational sites to complete CDRL A009 in their hub and spokes of assigned responsibility and supporting FOC leads consolidation of daily reports. Responsible for maintaining program supply and spares levels, equipment, material, and services purchases for assigned hub and spoke operational sites. Monitors sparing level at hub and forward sites of assigned responsibility. Price and define lead times jointly with procurement, and order equipment in a timeline consistent with schedule requirements. Coordinates with OCONUS technicians and directs troubleshooting questions to correct FSR at FOC, finds maintenance manual guidance/instruction to resolve system and performance issues, or coordinates depot repairs and funding with OEM or service vendors. Liaise all purchase requirements initiated outside of the BOM process by interfacing with OCONUS logisticians, technical leads, program managers, procurement, and government approvers to verify purchase request details, validate the purchase is necessary, obtain purchase approval and track estimated and actual delivery dates to ensure schedule risks are not introduced due to delayed delivery (this includes Depot Maintenance purchases). Responsible for coordinating flow of equipment, material, spares, and consumables to maintain system health at forward sites. Includes coordinating transportation efforts to move program equipment, advising on hazardous shipping requests and supporting coordination for special handling equipment as required. Support PBLM reports development entering information into repair data based on troubleshooting calls and critical response efforts. Coordinates disposition activities for CONUS and OCONUS Hub and spoke locations. Travel to FOB's on short notice to support major RESET or reconstitution efforts if required. Other logistics duties as assigned in response to contractual reporting or mission requirements. Other duties may include: Complete data analysis and monitor efforts to complete reports required by CDRL or other reports as requested by the government . WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications) Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of logistics experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Ability to organize cross-functional teams to implement a logistics response to urgent mission requirements. Familiar with Army transportation and transfer documentation Ability to monitor and manage the supply of several OCONUS locations and multiple mission systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Active DoD Secret Clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree with four (4) or more years of experience with Army logistics functions or supply chain management. Familiar with policy and resources used by Army logistics. Prior experience and demonstrated proficiency with asset management and maintenance tracking database software. Prior use or reporting of Performance Based Logistics Metrics (PBLM), Experience with maintenance planning, supply distribution, Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) planning and implementation and parts provisioning. Pay Range: Pay Range $42,250.00 - $76,375.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
