Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an
Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity Engineer
within our Process Controls Engineering team located in
Houston, TX or in our global corporate HQ in Allentown, PA.
This position requires 20% travel North America, UK, Europe, and Asia.
The Process Controls Engineering team provides engineering and commissioning support for new Cryogenic Air Separation and Process Gases Plants.
As an ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer, you will join a process controls team that delivers process control systems that include, BPCS, SIS, and analytical systems.
In this role, you will collaborate with enterprise IT, Plant Operations, other Cybersecurity collaborators and Process Control engineers, to design, implement and test cybersecurity standards for Purdue Model L3 and below. You will ensure the design of process control systems meet regulatory and company Cybersecurity requirements. You will develop, enhance, and implement standards, specs, processes, and procedures related to Cybersecurity.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Complete assigned cybersecurity execution plans maintaining budget and schedule.
Participate in risk assessment exercises and liaise with project team members to implement risk assessment recommendations.
Implement Purdue Model Level 0-3 architecture according to AP and regulatory standards/spec and support 3.5 architecture.
Implement assigned project FAT/SAT procedures for project execution.
Participate in Global Functional Owners meetings to develop/review Global Cyber Security work processes and procedures.
Work with a global team and may be required to work with different time zones to collaborate with team members.
Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electric or Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
OT/ICS cybersecurity relevant accreditations such as ISA/IEC62443, GIAC GICSP or other internationally recognized certifications are preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience in Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), or related field with at least 2 years passionate about designing, building and/managing cybersecurity for industrial control systems and networks.
Minimum 3 years experience in multi-functional team leadership/management preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of controls systems (SCADA/DCS/PLCs, etc.) relevant protocols (Modbus, PROFINET, DNP3, IEC61850, etc.)
Solid understanding of key technologies including Firewalls, IDS, Anti-Virus, Vulnerabilities assessments, safe listing & networking etc.
Experience in prioritizing or leading risk assessment exercises is preferred.
Additional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc. ,are a plus. America, UK, Europe, and Asia.
