This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced program with DCS Corp's at Ground Vehicle Systems Center engineering group located in Warren, MI. As an experienced Software Engineer, you will work alongside our U.S. Army Software Engineering Center customer, applying your knowledge and skills by providing technical engineering services that support Ground Vehicles and the emerging technologies.
Essential Job Functions:
Software Development following standard software processes. Communication skills required to interface with systems and software development engineers as well as customer. Design software following defined architectures.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience.
Experience with tools or similar to, Bitbucket (git), Jira (issue tracker), Confluence (document management), Jenkins (continuous integration).
Strong C++ skills (Including up to C+); JavaScript; Python; Angular.
Experience with communication methods, i.e. DDS, TCP.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Linux Development.
Able to write and perform tests, both unit and system, and debug systems in a lab environment.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge using Software Tools.
Google Test.
Networking/Wireshark.
Experience in performing software load & verification.
Experience using VMWare.
Experience with Embedded Systems.
General robotics knowledge.
