Job Details

We are seeking a talented Licensed Electrical Engineer who thrives not only in designing full electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm for large, complex manufacturing facility buildings but also values strong mentorship and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design Leadership: Spearhead electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and integrating power, lighting, and fire alarm systems seamlessly.
NEC Mastery: Apply an in-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code to craft designs that meet the utmost safety and quality benchmarks.
Advanced Power Distribution: Design robust power distribution systems, skilled in both low and medium voltage applications, tailored to the specific needs of cutting-edge manufacturing plants.
Expert Load Flow Analysis: Optimize power distribution through precise load flow analysis, enhancing energy efficiency.
Innovative Lighting Design: Craft lighting solutions that boost safety, productivity, and energy conservation.
Collaborative Facilities Design: Engage in multidisciplinary projects, offering your electrical engineering expertise to forge comprehensive solutions.
Software Proficiency: Utilize leading software like Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD for sophisticated modeling and simulation.
Client Interaction: Directly collaborate with clients to align our electrical solutions with their unique objectives.

Qualifications:

5-10+ years of Professional Electrical Engineering design experience in the construction industry.
Must hold a valid Electrical P.E. license and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience designing power systems for data centers, commercial offices, manufacturing facilities, medical buildings, or other large commercial projects.
Experience working independently, managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff.
Strong understanding of National and International Building Codes and NFPA Standards.
Advanced knowledge of equipment power requirements, including large scale standby and emergency power system, including interactive generator controls systems.
Experienced in producing Protective Device Coordination and Arc Flash studies is preferred.
Experienced with Medium Voltage equipment selection and specifications is preferred.
Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives.
Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team.
Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM and Revit.
