To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Job Description HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Maintenance Lead in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. Position will be based at global Army training site in Fort Bliss, TX. This position is contingent upon contract award. Essential Job Responsibilities Works at specific sites to manage and control the maintenance of local assets under the direction of the Maintenance Director and regional/site leadership, including executing processes and updating the systems, procedures, and records, necessary for effective and efficient control of maintenance-related tasks.
The lead supports local maintenance personnel with acquiring required equipment and materials. They assist with maintenance services, including managing and tracking the execution of scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
Advises the Site Lead upon discovery and/or notification from maintenance personnel of a repair or replacement cost that exceeds the limits. They monitor the maintenance and usage data for TADSS and advises logistics and site leadership of opportunities to provide recommendations related to placing TADSS in or out of CPF 11.
Coordinates with logistics personnel to facilitate the disposal processes for property, adhering to proper maintenance procedures and generating accurate documentation.
Works with logistics to facilitate TADSS relocation. Coordinates with and advises the Maintenance Director on processes and procedures to implement in planning for and executing interim contractor support maintenance for newly fielded TADSS and GFP.
Responsible for each site's services, including service delivery, service level monitoring and reporting, problem management, capacity planning, risk management, service request management, and relationship management.
Leads plan, implement, and track initiatives to drive continuous service and process improvement for assigned service domains by managing the development, submission, approval, and execution of service request Work Orders to ensure timely provisioning and delivery of services. They collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of supporting services and enhancements to TADSS, NET, TSC, and MC efforts.
Leads have experience handling conflicting stakeholder requirements and leverage the ISTS with the help of analysts to develop COAs that give the site agile solutioning that remains in alignment with the organization's operational goals. Minimum Qualifications It is required that the Maintenance Lead has the following qualifications: Experience managing and controlling maintenance at specific sites Experience with coordinating maintenance and logistics personnel Ability to advise site leadership on repair or replacement costs Experience with facilitating disposal processes and generating accurate documentation Knowledge of maintenance services, including service delivery, capacity planning, and risk management Experience with developing and implementing initiatives for continuous service and process improvement Experience developing COAs to align with operational goals
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
Education and Experience Level: Minimum of 4 years experience with Bachelors; 1 year of experience with a Masters; or minimum of 7 years experience with high school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level. May encounter extremes of temperature, pollution, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors while collecting data, observing performance of task teams.
