Work with Engineering Resource Manager and Talent Acquisition team to source, status, screen, interview, and make offers to top caliber engineering talent
Work with your engineering discipline teams to develop and execute onboarding support, training, mentorship, and career path/talent development activities
Identify and support process improvements initiatives related to Project Engineering Must-haves: Bachelor's of Science degree in a related engineering discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant technical experience
Thorough understanding of engineering principles and practices related to the sucessful execution of Aerospace and Defense programs
Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation
Experience interviewing engineering candidates for technical positions
Effective at mentorship activities and conducting training
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience leading multi-disciplinary design and development teams Preferred: Typically 4-6 years of relevant leadership and/or project management experience
Previous management experience; exposure to recruiting employees; assigning, directing, and evaluating their work; and overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence
Experience with identifying and coordinating resources to ensure the required tools, processes, and training are available/effective and programs are staffed and supported to achieve success
Extensive experience training and mentoring other engineers in your field
Understanding of how to prepare project staffing plans for proposed program work packages
Previous experience in technical project management in the areas of proposal development and management; program start up; requirements development; design development; assembly and integration; verification and validation; product support and operation
Ability to motivate/work with others
