Electrical Engineer - Fuzing Systems with Security Clearance

R- Description Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems in the Test Instrumentation & Lethal Mechanisms Portfolio which develops Ignition Safety Devices, Electronic Safe & Arm Devices, Proximity Sensors, as well as telemetry systems for rocket, missile and unmanned aerial system applications . These products are in current production in support of several weapons systems customers with increased production over the next several years with annual revenue around $5M. Primary Responsibilities Candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of complex electronic hardware within technical, schedule, and budget constraints. Projects will involve diverse technology areas including electronic design, payload integration, and system integration. Supporting our manufacturing team for existing products and launching new products is also a component of this position. Basic Qualifications BSEE degree with at least 8 years of prior relevant experience including: Concept development and circuit design of a variety of a variety of products Experience using Mentor Graphics E-CAD schematic capture software Debugging electronic hardware with standard laboratory equipment Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Altium schematic capture and PCB layout E-CAD C programming abilities for embedded micro-processors Excellent communication skills Product manufacturing support Secret (or above) security clearance Original Posting Date: 2024-07-08
