As a Sr Earned Value Specialist, you will provide Earned Value Management implementation support to maintain industry best practices and ensure compliance with all government requirements. You will identify training gaps and participate in determining and implementing solutions (tools, process and training) for various SNC initiatives. And you will also develop standard procedures and formats, conduct EVM Workshops to develop EVM skills within the Program Management community, and provide EVM oversight to establish program management ownership of program performance data. Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of a robust and sustainable analytics environment to support data driven decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with various teams to understand business goals and how data can support these objectives.
Oversee the installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning of the Analytics/Business Intelligence environments.
Work with key business partners to understand business priorities, you'll identify strategic initiatives, develop effective and timely analytical solutions, provide recommendations on effective technologies and estimates for level of effort to implement analytics solutions and reporting platforms to drive growth and business improvement.
Manage the analytics team to implement, integrate, administrator, and enhance data and analytics solutions within the organization while consistently achieving quality, system performance, cost, and on time delivery metrics. Must Haves: A Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field and typically 10+ years of related work experience.
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
A proven background and competency in Earned Value Management
Ability to develop effective EVM procedures, training, and work instructions relative to regulatory standards and internal processes
Apply Earned Value Management concepts in working with federal government contracts, budget process, and fund management
Capability to perform in depth earned value data analysis, inclusive of data quality checks and CDRL/SDRL (IPMR, CFSR, CSDR, etc.) review
Experience in leading Integrated Baseline Reviews and Joint Surveillance Reviews, partnering with suppliers and DCMA from kickoff through action item closure
Demonstrated knowledge of Corrective Action Report (CAR) resolution process, including root cause analysis, Corrective Action Plan (CAP) generation, and tracking to closure
Familiarity with Earned Value Management and IMS software (Deltek Cobra, Empower, MS Project, Primavera, etc.), and self service analytics (PowerBI)
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Preferred: Comfortable working independently on assigned tasks to fulfill requested changes, enhancements and updates to existing processes and tools
Competency documenting technical requirements,
Continuous engagement to understand current and future tool capabilities relative to business needs
Ability to develop and conduct relevant stakeholder learning sessions.
Foundational understanding of Program Management processes
Familiarity with DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Knowledge of program finance processes, procedures, and tools Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38.
