Raytheon is seeking an Environmental Compliance and Sustainability (EC&S) Specialist to join our dynamic team of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) professionals. The EC&S Specialist position will support our ongoing sustainability, environmental compliance, and risk reduction efforts at the Andover site. The EC&S Specialist will have an opportunity to work with the site manufacturing and support teams to foster employee engagement, integrate EHS requirements, drive risk reduction, and continuous improvement of all EHS programs. What You Will Do Implement and improve site sustainability practices and programs related to waste, water, energy and greenhouse gases while maintaining alignment with EHS long-term goals, our customers goals, new EH&S legislation, and new sustainable technologies
Drive participation of key program and support personnel across the site to meet our Sustainability goals
Implement and improve site programs to increase employee awareness, buy-in, and knowledge of sustainability and compliance programs.
Manage data, reporting, and documentation related to site sustainability programs.
Manage Sustainability and other EHS related technical projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, to closure.
Support the site's environmental compliance programs, including, but not limited to, hazardous waste management, stormwater and ground-water protection plans, air emissions permitting, industrial wastewater, and toxic chemicals
Identify environmental risk and complete due diligence; investigate root cause for environmental incidents
Audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Recognize, evaluate, and control hazardous workplace conditions
Participate in limited travel for participation in company seminars, EHS audits and training opportunities

Become knowledgeable in most environmental compliance challenges at a manufacturing facility due to the complexity of the site Qualifications you must have: Typically requires a university degree with 5 years applicable EH&S experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years applicable EH&S experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Must be able to work well independently and within a team environment with a proactive and hands on approach
Must be able to respond to emergencies after hours as needed on an infrequent basis
Qualifications We Prefer Demonstrated experience in environmental compliance including RCRA, industrial wastewater, air emissions, stormwater pollution prevention, etc. and in sustainability programs
Experience in managing EH&S issues in a union work environment
Strong computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Office Suite and use of various management information systems
Ability to manage and facilitate cross functional Sustainability Teams at the site, coordinating associated meetings, site walks, and guiding strategy development
Project management and execution skills
Massachusetts Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators License

management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
