Job Description:
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Assistant with a strong emphasis on data analysis.
  • The ideal candidate will support our sustainability initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to environmental performance, resource usage, and sustainability metrics.
  • This role will be critical in helping to drive our sustainability goals and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Management:
  • Validate data related to sustainability metrics such as energy usage, waste management, water consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Maintain databases and tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of sustainability data.

Data Analysis:
  • Analyze sustainability data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize statistical software and tools to perform quantitative analysis and create models for sustainability performance.

Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on sustainability metrics and performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and sources of data to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Support Sustainability Initiatives:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into business operations.

Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in sustainability meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, Excel).
  • Familiarity with sustainability metrics and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
