Position: Environmental Compliance Lead
Location: Hawthorne Army Depot, Hawthorne, Nevada

Key Responsibilities:
- Air Permitting and Compliance: Manage and maintain Nevada air quality permits (Class I and Class II) to ensure ongoing compliance and relevancy. Coordinate with HWAD personnel and regulators, manage emissions stack testing, continuous monitoring, inspections, and subcontractors.
- Plan and Report: Develop and implement plans and procedures, prepare internal and external reports, and oversee internal environmental audits.
- Broader Compliance: Assist in managing hazardous waste, water compliance, two RCRA Hazardous Waste TSDF permits, and three NPDES wastewater discharge permits. Maintain meticulous regulatory records.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in engineering, physical sciences, environmental sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of environmental management experience, with a strong understanding of federal and state environmental laws and regulations. Proven experience in obtaining and managing permits.
- DoD Experience: Preferably, experience working on a Department of Defense (DoD) facility. An existing DoD "Secret" security clearance is a huge plus!
- Certifications: Certified in 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training along with 8-hour refresher training.
