We seek a statistician to design experiments and analyze data to help us understand how artificial intelligence systems perform in real DoD use cases. Our team works with multiple government agencies in defense and healthcare. We evaluate artificial intelligence technologies ranging from computer vision on sensors to reinforcement learning in autonomous vehicles to large language models in strategic planning. Our work is not theoretical - we have real systems, real users, and real missions! As an AI Assurance Statistician You will design experiments for real world AI systems in defense and healthcare
You will analyze real-world data to ensure validity and reliability, supporting assurance of critical government missions
You will collaborate with a skilled team of AI researchers at the forefront of defense and health testing
You will create and present ideas, proposals, experimental designs, and analyses directly to our sponsors. Qualifications You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you Have a Master's degree in Statistics or related field
Are proficient in statistical software such as R, JMP, or Python
Have strong knowledge and understanding of statistical methods for data analysis, including regression analysis, ANOVA, and multivariate analysis
Have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

Have 3+ years of experience in statistical analysis and/or experimental design
Have experience in designing statistically rigorous experiments with real-world constraints
