Apprentice Operator - Active L1 with Security Clearance

Job Description Position Description LIS is seeking qualified candidates that are looking for a challenge and are interested in working in a team environment. This position is on a future contract and the majority of the work is rotating shifts in 90-day cycles. Candidates must be willing to work shift work and work in the Augusta, GA area. Shall perform 24/7 operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest using the most appropriate sensor and passive geolocation technique available. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of full-time operational experience, within the last five (5) years with NSA, one of the Service Cryptologic Elements, or another government intelligence agency conducting RF collection and/or Direction-Finding operations.
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Willingness to support 24/7/365 operations. Shift work may be required.
Complete a 60-day certification training program upon start. Failure to pass the course will result in removal from the contract. Preferred Qualifications Certification in active geolocation techniques via training programs conducted by NSA, a service component, or another US Government Agency to include the technologies below is highly desired: Global System Mobile (GSM)
Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)
CDMA 2000 Evolution - Data Only (EV-DO)
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers standard 802.11 Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi)
Universal Mobile Telecommunications Systems (UMTS)
NSAG Geolocation Qualification Course or
SCE Collection Operator Certification
