To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Who We Are: HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Program Manager for the USAF Weapons School at Nellis AFB, NV HII-MT provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide. What You Will Do:
• Responsible for the profit and loss (P and L) of Nellis programs at the USAF Weapons School.
• Responsible for providing program management oversight • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program.
• Provides guidance recommendations to commercial and government senior level staff. • Attend mission planning and mission debriefings.
• Attend local Nellis AFB training events (when available) to remain current with emerging capabilities
• Prepares or coordinates the preparation of proposals as required.
• Leads and/or participates in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, readiness exercises, training, education and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements.
• Demonstrates excellent writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual and analytical reports for clients.
• Will assist co-workers with training, guidance, and insight into needed efforts for the organization.
• Manages and leads subcontractor relationships
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For: 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
Experience in project and program management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to work flexible schedule to support customer requirements.
Must possess and maintain an active Top-Secret clearance.
Preferred Requirements: Active Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility
Experience in project, program management or Leadership Experience as Deputy Commandant or Squadron Commander at the USAF Weapons School
Graduate of the USAF Weapons School
Previous experience as part of the Weapons School Leadership Team
Previous qualified USAF Pilot or Navigator
