IAS is seeking a driven and collaborative leader for the role of Production Control Account Manager (CAM) Leader. In this newly created role, you will report to the Director of Integrated Program Management and focus on establishing the roles and responsibilities of the Production CAMs. As a Production CAM Leader, you will become the subject matter expert of the Production CAM community, providing training and mentoring, process updates, and driving consistency in the performance of those fulfilling these duties as assigned. In this position, you will also have the ability to be directly assigned to a program in order to keep current on best practices and ensure there is a healthy balance in the day-to-day. As a Project Manager Leader, you will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Responsibilities: Establish the roles and responsibilities of the Production CAMs.
Become the Subject Matter Expert of the Production CAM community.
Provide training and mentoring to Production CAMs.
Drive consistency in the performance of those fulfilling these duties as assigned.
Be the focal point for tool enhancements.
Provide process updates.
Balance day-to-day operations with program-specific assignments.
Ensure best practices are followed.
Develop Master Build Plan (MBP) with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality/Product Assurance Management teams to guide production team members.
Collaborate with Material Planner and Operations Manager to establish detailed production schedule planning, routing hours per manufacturing orders, material "need by" dates, critical path, and key production milestones, leading to the establishment of production duration and baseline completion date as inputs to the Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/ Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Develop an executable IMS based on program and MBP milestones, conduct weekly team meetings to verify production tasks are meeting program objectives, and provide status updates to the customer as delegated by the PM.
Develop and communicate production resource needs, continuously update Ops Resource Plan (ORP), and track earned value performance and variance analysis reporting for assigned program Work Packages (WP).
Develop Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and Basis of Estimate (BOE) documents for Operations labor, travel, and direct costs associated with proposals, and participate in negotiation reviews.
Develop and maintain Operations Program Plans (OPP) for proposals, update according to negotiations, and ensure it is baselined as part of the award and kickoff of programs.
Provide input for program Make/Buy decisions, coordinate program Material Plan development, and manage the program's supply chain efforts.
Support audits of production program execution processes. Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and 3+ years of experience in project management or related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience in managing a project.
Experience with managing scope, budget and schedule for an operations build.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Preferred: Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or similar tool.
Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.
Experience with risk management planning and documentation.
Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.
Experience with aircraft modifications & integration.
Experience with aircraft maintenance/MRO experience.
Experience with working aviation operations proposals.
Can decompose scope to the MIL-STD-881 Work Breakdown structure.
Develop resource plans and basis of estimates for proposal responses.
Experience in developing high level build sequences/durations to a Manufacturing Build Plan.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate.
Familiarity with DCMA 8210, AS9100 and 29 CFR Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) practices.
Lean Six Sigma Certification, Scrum Certification, or related certification. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,552.10 - $165,759.14.
