Job Description US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

The Senior Application Developer position will support Information Technology software including in-house development, SaaS solutions, On-Prem, and COTS products as well as webservices and portals. The Enterprise Assurance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers critical assurance disciplines that protect and enable people, data and missions. We provide a comprehensive approach to managing risk across the enterprise for current and future information environments where the business and missions execute. We apply the use of innovative tools and robust processes to ensure mission and business success. What You'll Do:
Design, test, code, configure, debug, and document software change requests (enhancements, bugfixes, emergency changes, etc.) for custom and COTS applications.
Create and maintain business web services that adapt and extend applications functionality.
Create developer documentation when appropriate to help onboard new developers. Collaborate with Business Analyst and business users to clarify requirements and confirm design/implementation.
Work with other developers and solutions architects to align to a consistent technology vision and drive application development standards.
Research and recommend database development best practices.
Participate in peer-programming and design sessions/reviews with team members.
Collaborate with other Application Developers on problem analysis and resolution and provide support as needed.
Ensure development quality is being tracked and improved using techniques like automated testing and peer code review.
Work closely with Business Analysts and Quality Analysts to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.
Collaborate with BAE SMS business units as needed to understand impact of changes and suggest appropriate technical solutions.
Solve and implementing difficult technology challenges and drive our team to successful delivery.
Occasional after hours work for software releases.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's in Information Technology or a related technical field plus 8 or more years related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Security+ CE certification.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional, and able to communicate with all levels of management.
Ability to work under general direct supervision.

Full-Time Salary Range: $115000 - $158500 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
