Job Description Strategic ACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. Strategic ACI provides specialized systems engineering, acquisition, and intelligence support to the Army Geospatial Center (AGC). The work involves systems engineering, development, and testing of tactical intelligence collection and processing systems. Responsibilities: Ensure requirements align with government directives regarding future expeditionary ground station objectives.
Foster productive cross-functional relationships with employees, contractors and 3rd party vendors/entities to ensure customer-focused results.
Develop plans, analysis, and designs for multipurpose, SIGINT and geospatially enabled systems that support future expeditionary space ground station prototyping.
Design customer implementation strategies that support future expeditionary space ground station systems integration with currently operational system architectures.
Analyze, develop and communicate recommendations to the customer regarding the future design of the system and network architectures, ensuring optimal systems operations assessments during integration and test events.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, document data and process flows, identify resource requirements for primary resources, secondary resources, ancillary systems, personnel, facilities, and communication.
Conduct applied research/advanced development of tactical GEOINT capabilities. Utilize knowledge and skills in geospatial applications; in remote sensing; in the use of computers for digital image and GIS processing, analysis, visualization and/or digital cartographic techniques. Develop, use and field Army Geospatial Intelligence exploitation systems and architectures. Work with imagery collection, exploitation and dissemination systems and methods. Work with DoD acquisition management and planning processes.
Qualifications: Required: Active TS/SCI Clearance. A bachelor's degree in an engineering field or related discipline. 2 - 5 years of experience in a related field (GEOINT, systems engineering, intelligence, aerospace, satellite communications, mathematics, etc.). Fundamental systems engineering/analysis skill-sets and competencies.
Experience in process engineering, improvement, and process workflow.
Ability to develop and present effective technical presentations.
Experience in Microsoft Office applications, graphic/visual diagram editing.
Desired: Understanding of GEOINT collection and processing methods
