The mission of the Office of the ASD SOLIC is to conduct oversight of all Department of Defense (DoD) policies and plans related to special operations, with special emphasis on counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, sensitive special operations, counter unmanned systems and other activities as specified by the Secretary of Defense. The Overseas Contingency Support Analyst will assist the Government in developing resource sustainable approaches to combating violent extremist organizations and current counterterrorism operations in the U.S. Central Command and U.S. Africa Command areas of responsibility to align with the National Defense Strategy. Required Skills and Experience: 5 Years of combined Joint, Interagency, or Regional Experience
Experience with counterterrorism operations

Bachelor's Degree
Top Secret / SCI ClearancePreferred Skills and Experience: 5 Years Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, or Service-level Headquarters Experience
5 Years Special Operations Experience
Master's Degree
Experience with U.S. Central Command and/or U.S. Africa Command
Experience analyzing Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) activities
