Job Description

Who Are We Seeking?

We are seeking a Special Testing Oil Laboratory Technician who is ready to challenge themselves performing laboratory testing and analyses work according to operating procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform physical and chemical extractions of samples for analysis
  • Record accurate observations during the extraction process
  • Collect ATR and flow cell FTIR spectra of solid and liquid samples
  • Run IC analysis on lab samples
  • Run HPLC analysis on lab samples
  • Prepare sample mixtures for laboratory testing
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace
  • Assist main lab with standard testing when needed
  • Assist fuel lab when needed
  • Assist with the intake of samples by looking up, setting up and batch receiving samples as needed/directed
  • Take part in and contribute to departmental projects and goals
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Basic microscope skills
  • Basic laboratory skills and techniques - measuring, weighing, mixing etc.
  • Customer-oriented
  • Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Computer literate with basic knowledge regarding Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be a team player and work with a variety of people
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-past work environment
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of efficiency without sacrificing quality
Qualifications

Educations:
  • High School or Equivalent (Required)
  • College degree with science major or minimum of one year of experience working in a laboratory (Preferred)

Additional Information

Candidates within the commutable distance of Strongsville, OH are eligible to apply. This role will be a full time role, first shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Monday - Friday.

This is a full time position with an hourly wage, company matching 401K, PTO Plan and Benefits.

Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business section, and geographic location
