Role Summary:
Reliability is at the core of Electric Adventure Vehicles. As a Reliability Technical Project Manager - FMEA , you will play a key role in managing cross functional teams to identify and resolve design related risks through DFMEA and PFMEA.

Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of DFMEA and PFMEA completion strategy

Setting expectations and working with cross functional teams to manage resources to complete DFMEA and PFMEA tasks

Preparing presentations for recurring management meetings

Prioritize actions with cross functional teams on vehicle program

DFMEA and PFMEA Project Management

Coordinating with Design and Manufacturing Engineering and cross functional teams in the development of requirements, prioritization, scheduling & completion planning of DFMEA & PFMEA.

Leading tracking and reporting for DFME & PFMEA KPI Generation, Status Tracking, reporting methodology leadership

Developing and leading implementation of improvements to our DFMEA and PFMEA methods

Leading a cross functional steering committee to ensure cross functional alignment and collaboration on our DFMEA and PFMEA process

Serving as an SME on the DFMEA and PFMEA methodology and supporting growth of our engineering teams capabilities for executing DFMEA and PFMEA

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering Discipline (Mechanical Engineering Preferred)

3-5+ Years of experience with DEFMA AND PFEMA Methodology

3-5+ Years in Project Management in the Reliability Engineering Realm

3-5+ years of experience creating business visualizations and presenting highly technical concepts to Sr. Stakeholders

2+ years creating and optimizing process improvements.

Experience with FMEA software such as EiNS/Plato, xFMEA(Preferred)

Experience with Jira/Confluence/Sharepoint/Tableau(Preferred)

Project Management Program certification (PMP)(Preferred)

Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range Irvine-Based Applicants: $121,000-$151,900 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range Palo Alto-Based Applicants: $132,100-$165,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
