The Red Gate Group is seeking a dynamic Special Operations Policy Analyst (Technical Program Analyst) to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (ASD SOLIC) in Arlington, VA. The ASD SOLIC serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary of Defense on special operations and low-intensity conflict matters, providing policy oversight of all DoD plans related to special operations. This includes counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, countering unmanned systems, and sensitive special operations, ensuring alignment with U.S. defense objectives. In this role, you will provide crucial policy analysis, legislative support, and program oversight. Key responsibilities include managing and coordinating the Counterterrorism Fellowship Program, developing strategies for legislative engagement relating to Special Operations equities, and reviewing Combatant Command (CCMD) Special Operations plans and operational concepts. You will also monitor Department-wide initiatives, programs, and guidance related to Special Operations, including counterterrorism and information operations, and prepare tailored briefings for senior DoD leadership. This position is ideal for a skilled analyst with a deep understanding of Special Operations and a passion for shaping national defense policy in alignment with the strategic goals of the Office of ASD SOLIC. Qualifications Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
