HII is seeking an Engineer Test Lead 3 for a USG customer in the Northern Virginia area. This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract. Essential Job Responsibilities Oversee the planning and execution of testing with various commercially available testing equipment. Support the development of designs with testing feedback to address standard and non-standard problem sets. Plan and execute testing to validate systems survivability and execution. Minimum Qualifications 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
3 years of experience with Lab VIEW software 3 years executing MIL-STD-810 environmental testing or equivalent 1 year of experience executing testing with knowledge of various electronic devices to include power supplies, recorders, and communication equipment 1 year of experience maintaining automated testing systems Must possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance Preferred Requirements Bring a creative approach to solving unique testing scenarios with a wide variety of systems at your disposal Experience providing engineering and design teams with guidance and feedback on design before, during, and after testing execution Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implementing them through USG databases and systems Experience with equipment and configuration management, and a demonstrated track record of implementing procedures and maintaining precise documentation Ability to operate independently and at a fast-pace Physical Requirements Office, industrial or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
