The Opportunity: As a Pilot Project Energy Manager, you understand the challenges of turning an innovative idea into an executed solution. You know the complexities asso cia ted with gathering requirements, collaborating with te chn ical teams, and driving a project from concept to implementation. With the growing demand for resilient, clean energy solutions, many Federal Government energy consumers need support delivering pilot programs to introduce new solutions. That's why we need you, a leader who can help ensure success through careful management and effective communication. On our team, you'll develop and deliver pilot projects to prove the viability of new, clean, and resilient energy solutions. You'll develop milestone plans, coordinate with client stakeholders, and overcome project hurdles through collaboration and creative problem-solving. You'll facilitate key meetings and support day-to-day operations by managing communication flows. The real impact of your work comes from developing and delivering projects that utilize new solutions to meet the future's clean energy and resilience goals. You Have: 5+ years of experience with energy project origination, energy project development, or utility project development
Experience working with data analysts, engineers, and environmental spe cia lists to originate energy projects
Experience driving collaboration between government, te chn ology partners, and utility providers
Experience advising senior clients in complex and politically charged environments
Knowledge of regulatory issues and te chn ical innovations driving the electric industry across the U.S.
Knowledge of contractual vehicles typically used in renewable energy project development, including land leases and power purchase agreements
Ability to manage schedule and workload to successfully deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience advising Federal agencies
Experience working with the Department of Defense
Experience developing projects within National Environmental Policy Act ( NEPA ) requirements
Knowledge of geothermal energy te chn ology
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information . The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
