Job Description:
Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (SPM) for our Geospatial and Technology Services Group to oversee the upfront analysis, project planning, and stakeholder coordination necessary for successful delivery of project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

The SPM will provide guidance, coordination, and leadership in the development of a cohesive plan for project pursuit, proposal, and project delivery for geospatial projects.

Responsibilities:
Major activities will include:

Management of remote sensing mapping and geospatial solution and analytics projects.

Positing with the client to understand how to develop winning proposals.

Managing projects with positive client feedback.

Required Skills & Required Experience:
Accomplished project manager with 15+ years of progressive technical experience in the project management and delivery of professional services for federal clients, state, local, and/or commercial clients and markets. The candidate will have thorough knowledge of (or the ability to rapidly gather knowledge of) geospatial, coastal, and related state agencies, personnel, and stakeholders, as well as federal, and private stakeholders.

The SPM will have the support of Dewberry company resources as well as a local executive assistant to help in the coordination, facilitation, information gathering, and report dissemination necessary to meet Government requirements.

Travel to client sites will be required.

BS/BA in applicable field from accredited university.

Knowledge of state and federal agency programs, programmatic rules and regulations and experience completing work in/for various state or federal agencies.

Organized, process-oriented individual with the ability to work independently, guide/track actions of external stakeholders, and balance multiple priorities and roles.

Ability to support stakeholder engagement and effectively interface between multiple stakeholder groups to ensure all parties have common understanding of the requirements.

Ability to work effectively as part of a remote, multi-disciplinary team.

General knowledge of remote sensing technology and services.

Experience in coordinating projects for federal, state, local and/or commercial clients.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to command virtual meeting technologies such as MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, or Google Meetup.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work within a team environment.

Travel when necessary to client sites or other Dewberry offices.

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
