Sr. Mechanical Engineer Job Description:


  • Lead complex HVAC designs using advanced techniques.

  • Perform energy models and feasibility studies.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced staff

  • Meet with clients and outside personnel.

  • Engage in marketing and business development.

  • Conduct HVAC Load Calculations and Energy Analysis.

  • Perform Life Cycle Cost Analysis and Equipment Selection.

  • Design ductwork, hydronic systems, and controls systems.

  • Develop specifications and coordinate with other disciplines.

  • Assist in proposal development and pursuit planning.

  • Potential for visiting worksites as needed.

  • Frequent communication with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. of site equipment when necessary.



Skills:


  • Microsoft Office, Revit, and AutoCAD



Education:


  • Bachelor's or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.



Experience:


  • Minimum 5-7 years of industry-related experience.



Licenses & Certifications:


  • Professional Engineer preferred, or ability to secure a PE within a year also accepted.
