Set up and
operate the CNC (Complex Numeric Control) horizontal boring and slotter
machines in order to perform various operations on a variety of parts and
components.

Set up and
operates one or more of the following machines: Ingersoll CNC Floor
Type Horizontal Boring Mill, Giddings & Lewis CNC Floor Type
Horizontal Boring Mill, Giddings & Lewis CNC Travelling Column
Horizontal Boring Mill, Ingersoll CNC Horizontal Slotting Machine, Mazak
CNC 5-axis machining center including setup cell and pallet tech, as well as various manual drills and Bridgeport
mills.

Position is
also responsible for mentoring of employees in the Siemens Apprentice
Program.

Work in
other areas of the campus on other products as needed.

What You Bring

Need to have
1-3 years of industrial-mechanical experience using CNC controls.

Require a
basic knowledge of machine shop operations, together with the use of
complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of
precision measuring instruments and/or the training generally applicable
in this particular or specialized occupation

Ability to
obtain fork truck and crane license. Prefer to have previous experience.

Must pass
math competency / balancer exam.
