Reinventing Geospatial (RGi) is a leading geospatial expert working with Defense, Intelligence, and Federal clients to achieve mission success and solutions for varied mission-critical programs. Projects at RGi span a wide range of software and analytical methodologies and lie at the intersection of software development and geospatial intelligence. We work with soldiers and geospatial analysts to produce solutions that allow them to develop better situational understanding of complex operational pictures. We do everything from data collection to UI/UX development and advanced deep learning, using a broad toolset including Python, C#, and ArcGIS. Our projects include cutting-edge R&D efforts, as well as large mission programs incorporating data processing/optimization, data dissemination techniques, visualization, and collaboration across the commercial and government sectors. RGi is looking for a talented Geospatial Analyst that is passionate about technology and the mission of our customers to join our team! The ideal candidate is a geospatial professional that is passionate about helping to drive our customers' and company missions forward. The candidate must be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to balance simultaneous tasks to keep pace with our team of high performers. Clearance: U.S. citizenship Secret required and TS Clearance preferred As a Geospatial Analyst, you will Extracts data from GIS software and uses varying analysis methods to arrive at results
Provides maps and data sets to clients to supplement analysis Provides database development support in creating cartographic and digital data products
Performs data conversion migration, and translation activities utilizing advanced processing techniques
Design and implement efficient production tools and coordinate work flow with project personnel
Provides database development support in creating cartographic and digital data products
Performs finishing of remote sensing data, producing and maintaining cartographic databases, updating cartographic data from intelligence databases and producing mission specific data sets Geospatial Analyst qualification: Master's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field 10+ years experience with 5 years as GIS or Geospatial Analyst in the IC or DoD
Experience using Web Mapping Applications (ArcGIS Portal and Online) and various map services WMS, WMTS, WCS, and WFS. Knowledge of enterprise geodatabases and database management a plus, including using PostgreSQL, SQL Server (2012 or higher). Knowledge of military applications of geospatial analytics and intelligence systems of the Army (including DCGS-A)
Understanding of GIS theory and applications
Knowledge of GIS software and technology - AGC's Common Map Background (CMB) GEOINT datasets, web services, web mapping applications (e.g., Common Visualization Environment), and 3D globes (e.g. Google Earth, ArcGlobe, ArcGIS Earth globes) Additional Skills we would like to see Certified GIS Professional (GISP) certification, National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) GEOINT Professional certification, Army GEOINT/Imagery Analyst Leadership Course, or Army Foundry GEOINT training or comparable certification. Experience on the operation of National and Tactical GEOINT systems and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Who we are:
