What You Will Do Interface directly with Software (SW) Cross-Product Team (CPT) Lead, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, IPT Program Control Lead, and other CAMs to ensure financial execution and predictability within the CPT during the execution of Agile development and maintenance for multiple contracts. Ensure accurate Agile Earned Value measures and reporting, and predictable LRE and EAC performance. Resolve and remove roadblocks in obtaining and processing accurate data, drive alignment between CPT, IPT, and Finance in measurement and tracking approaches
Improve the efficiency of EVMS reporting and analysis, actively managing the total CPT Risk and Opportunity (R&O) position, and brief EV and R&O results to program and functional leadership. Developing multiple Quarterly EACs across the UTMD portfolio of programs for the SW CPT
Collaborating with the Software and IPT leadership to identify tasks, milestones and staffing needs to align with program scope.
Establishing budgets for control accounts and managing the cost and schedule performance using Raytheon's earned value management system (EVMS)
Analyzing Monthly Agile Earned Value metrics and providing summary reports to functional department leads
Meeting with Product Owners and Sub-CPT leads regularly to proactively track Agile EV, Risks and Opportunities and mitigate Variances.
Ensuring accurate and predictable monthly and quarterly financial performance
Following best practices and implementing process improvements within the UTMD SW CPT
Collaboratively working with program leaders to establish common practices for the use and reporting of Agile EV data
Compilation and submission of monthly OWP / Staffing forecast and weekly tracking of staffing goals
Generating CPT Financial artifacts such as: Overtime analyses, weekly actual reports, and LRE vs. EAC Analyses as required
Presenting EV Metrics, LRE and EAC reports to SW CPT and IPT leadership
Performing SAP / AO Report extractions, analysis, and reconciliation
Supporting the Software Engineering CPT Leadership in strategic decision making based on financial inputs
Supporting the CPT and department for proposals by writing and reviewing BOEs Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with Agile EV processes.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer CAM experience including responsibility reporting financial metrics to execute work, manage risk, and drive efficiencies.
Raytheon EVMS certification
Advanced degree is preferred
Demonstrated capability as a leader of software engineers
Demonstrated success working with other disciplines in achieving program success
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
Professional experience in aerospace/defense industry with emphasis on missile defense and ground-based sensors
Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment with positive interaction
Prior experience presenting to program and functional leadership
Proposal support experience including writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs), conducting proposal Gate reviews, and baselining. Raytheon Certified BOE writer
Experience training engineers and CAMs on best practices
