Responsibilities Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for our Environmental Safety Manager position with the USPS TESS program located in Norman, Oklahoma. This position will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily activities of documentation staff within the department. This position is for a proposal that has not yet been awarded. If awarded, this position is projected to start in January 2025. Selected candidate must reside or live local to the Norman, OK customer site. Company will provide relocation assistance for selected candidates if re-location is required. Day to Day Work Responsibilities: Identifying hazardous workplace conditions on a daily basis
Revising work procedures and training.
Collection of samples and measurements of hazardous forces and toxic substances along with elimination.
Oversight of ensuring protective clothing and personal protective equipment is being utilized in a safe and proper manner.
Providing training to employees on health and safety related issues.
Providing reports and updates to senior management.Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Six (6) years experience.
U.S. Citizenship (Must have resided in the U.S. the past five years with no more than six months outside travel of the U.S. during this time frame).
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Experience in Industrial Health and Saftey programs including the following: (hearing conservation, respiratory protection, local exhaust ventilations, blood borne pathogens, ergonomics, reproductive hazards, OSHA regulated materials and air quality).
Experience with OSHA Standards and Recording keeping.
Familiarity with applicable Federal and State regulations
Ability to balance and prioritze numerious deadlines.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Bachelor's in Health and Saftey
EHS certitifcation
Completion of OSHA 501 Trainer Course Lean Six Sigma and ISO 9001 experience or training.
Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
