To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Summary We are seeking a Program Manager for the Surface Enhanced Capability Program (SECAP), Environmental Quality of Life (EQOL), SWRMC and Submarine Maintenance tasks. The Program Manager will be responsible for interfacing with customers, managing schedule, costs (Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Completion (ETC), and technical performance. The selected candidate will prepare deliverables, manage subcontractor employees for prime contractor, and provide work direction to staff. Will provide a variety of complicated and non-routine tasks and reports. Schedules, reports and briefs customers and senior management. What You Will Do Prepare monthly customer deliverables, financial reports, and communicate regularly with the Technical Advisor (TA) and Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) for each program. Administration of the contract/task Statement of Work (SOW) and understanding of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) pertaining to customer contracts. Hiring manager for all assigned programs to include: generating new job requisitions, screening job candidates, conducting job interviews, and recommending candidates for hire. Responsible for interfacing with customers, managing schedule, costs (Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Completion (ETC), and technical performance. Provide a variety of complicated and non-routine tasks and reports. Schedules, reports and briefs customers and senior management.
What You Must Have Must have experience managing costs, schedules, and technical performance on government contracts.
Must have experience operating, maintaining, and supervising propulsion plants (Gas Turbine, Steam, Diesel) onboard Navy ships.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
Preferred: Bonus Points For Experienced Program managers preferred.
A current, valid DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher. Experience as a submarine Program Manager for Navy contracts and delivery orders.
Experience as a surface ship Program Manager for Navy contracts and delivery orders. Physical Requirements May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment.
