To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Job Description HII-Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Enterprise Architect to address the Mission Partner Environment (MPE) expeditionary portfolio of systems. The Enterprise Architect searches, develops, documents, and analyzes enterprise, operational, and system architectures for the Secretary of the Air Force MIssion Partner Coordination Office customer in the Washington DC metro area. This position will involved quality assurance of team products, development of work plans, and technical delivery of work products. Essential Job Responsibilities Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
• Develops DOD Architecture Framework-compliant views and associated data.
• Works with functional subject matter experts to collect and describe operational and system processes, nodes, activities, associated inputs, controls, outputs, and mechanisms.
• Prepares, staffs, and publishes formal architecture documents.
• Produces architecture development plans and reports. • Conducts Architecture Branch staff actions (tasks, papers, briefings, etc.)
• Researches, develops. documents, and analyzes DoD architectures (including business/war fighting/enterprise information environment/intelligence processes and information technology) to identify mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls; determine and recommends architectural, IT, or process solutions; and develops other architecture related documents and plans.
• Participates in DOD Enterprise Architecture conferences; generates minutes and captures key action items.

• May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers Minimum Qualifications 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Strong presentation and communication skills Extra Points for: 20+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 18+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 15+ years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 24 years relevant experience.
Experience utilizing DOD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) diagraming tools such as Microsoft Visio - Cameo NoMagic Preferred.
Previous exposure to or experience with some or all of the relevant capabilities, functions, missions, and processes of the US Defense Combatant Commands, CCMD JIOCs and coalition interoperability Understanding of coalition intelligence and operational data sharing programs, techniques or methodologies
Familiarity with DoD JADC LIne of Effort 5 initiatives, DoD Zero Trust pillars, and/or NATO Federated Mission Networking standards
Knowledge of commonly used cross domain transfer options and technologies
