To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Job Description HII - Mission Technologies Corp. is looking for a Non-destructive Inspection (NDI) Engineer Subject Matter Expert. TS/SCI clearance is required. Support development and review of the full range of documentation and products Support implementation of Air Force Integrity Programs
Support requirements development, allocation, and verification
Review and evaluation of weapon system design, analyses, and verification documentation and reports
Gather and develop technical and business data necessary to build and, as required, present program brief
Support program meetings, working groups, and technical and business reviews as needed
Support development of contract and documentation changes and updates
Essential Job Responsibilities NDI engineering knowledge and expertise related to inspection of composite bonded structures, conventional and additively manufactured metallic structures. Experience on ACAT I or equivalent aircraft development programs to include: Development and validation of NDI specifications, Procedures, Reference standards, Inspection tools and equipment
Development of best practices associated with MIL-HDBK-6870 and USAF structures bulletins in support of development, test, production and sustainment Experience planning and executing NDI capability demonstrations per MIL-HDBK-1823 and USAF best practices.
Level III experience in ultrasonics, eddy current, penetrant and magnetic particle inspection.
Previous SAP experience
Minimum Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, mathematics, or science and 25 years of relevant DoD experience. Ten (10) of these years must be broad, proven experience in government or industry leadership roles on major ACAT I aircraft development With at least two (2) years SAP experience.
