To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Summary Mission Technologies a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a Data Manager to support the Mobility Air Force Distributed Mission Operations (MAF DMO) program. Selected candidate must be a detail-oriented professional to establish and support data governance processes for MAF DMO simulation and training capabilities. This data governance position will work closely with internal and external program stakeholders to manage program deliverables. This role is NOT eligible for remote or hybrid work and is executed on-site. What you will do Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes proposed changes in product design to determine effect on documents such as drawings, test specifications, manuals, and ensures all documents have required approvals. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Maintains audit trails. Researches and resolves inconsistencies with design, production, material, or program office. Duties include but are not limited to: Serve as a site owner for MAF DMO SharePoint
Developing systems, policies, procedures and protocols for data management
Making sure that MAF DMO and Mission Technologies data management protocols are in compliance with regulatory standards
Assessing, evaluating and updating the software, hardware and storage needs
Distributing information about the policy and procedures surrounding data retrieval, storage and sharing
Assisting colleagues in performing data-related tasks
Staying current with safety procedures to protect data from breaches or attacks
Networking with clients
Delivering reports to superiors about data management issues
What you must have 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large amounts of data
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products to include MS Project, Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledgeable in Windows and Linux operating systems, computer hardware, and networking.
Must be able to take initiative, communicate with team members, and identify and resolve potential issues.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.
In-depth understanding of modern database and information technologies
Excellent math, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Must be a US citizen, currently hold and able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Experience SharePoint site owner or SCA qualifications
Microsoft Project or other schedule tracking software skills
